About the Artist
Noel Hudson is stimulated by the natural world in its many forms, which allows Hudson to create an interchangeable warp and weft of abstraction and representation in her paintings. Feeling and emotional response to each subject dominate Noel Hudson's approach, but similar formal elements and principles appear in her paintings, including an emphasis on expressive use of color, bold design, pattern and mark making and a spirit of movement.
