Eva Carter's paintings draw from a lifetime of experiences. Carter's abstract work is inspired by the environment, natural phenomena and dreams. That world stretches from the internal depths of her subconscious to the external landscape of her coastal studio in South Carolina, her birthplace in the mountains of Tennessee, and her travels to the high desert of New Mexico.
